About DAV Public School
DAV Public School, Kailash Hills, was founded in 1983 by Principal Mrs. Krishna Mahajan at Masjid Moth, Niti Bagh, with just 150 students. In 1991, she relocated the school to Kailash Hills, where it continued to grow and flourish. Upon her retirement in 1998, the school had expanded to a robust student body of 1,200 and a dedicated team of 65 teaching staff and 35 non-teaching staff members, leaving behind a legacy of growth and excellence. DAV Public School, Kailash Hills was started by Principal Mrs. Krishna Mahajan in 1983 at Masjid Moth, Niti Bagh with just 150 students. She shifted the school to Kailash Hills in 1991. She retired in 1998 leaving behind a strong student strength of 1200 and a team of 65 teaching and 35 non teaching staff members. Mrs. Shashi Prabha Chandla carried forward the torch for another year and handed it over to Mrs. Madhu Kochar in 1999. The school made rapid progress in all spheres and 1380 students shaped their destiny under their able guidance. Mrs. Ira Khanna took over the reins of the School in 2006. In her dynamic leadership, the number of students rose to 1850 and gave a οΏ½SmartοΏ½ profile to the School. Mrs. Gargi Chhabra, took over in August 2023, in her leadership students are gearing up to meet the challenges of the computer age and turning into netizens rather than citizens by bringing the latest technology and e-learning to the classrooms. Our school motto "ASATOMA SADGAMMYA" enforces "Eschew untruth and follow the path of truth" and our success mantra is to "SEEK THE SEED OF TRIUMPH IN EVERY ADVERSITY" Our mission is to empower students to become lifelong learners, critical thinkers, and compassionate global citizens, prepared to thrive in an ever-changing world, guided by innovation, technology, and a commitment to excellence.
