About Mahatma Gandhi International School (MGIS), Ahmedabad
Mahatma Gandhi International School (MGIS), established in 1998, is an award-winning model of public-private partnership between the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, the Municipal School Board, and educationalists Dr. Pascal Chazot and Anju Kawr Chazot. The school houses both a Center for Action Research in Education and a Center for Teacher Training. In addition to providing in-house professional development, the founders and senior faculty of MGIS have mentored schools across various boards to implement the school’s distinctive *Generated Resource Learning™* pedagogy. MGIS faculty have contributed extensively to the field, publishing over 500 articles on education, linguistics, and parenting in renowned journals across Europe, Canada, and Asia, as well as textbooks for the Gujarat Government. 553
