About NIT Puducherry
Established in 2009, National Institute of Technology Puducherry (NITPY or NIT Pondicherry) is one of the ten new NITs in the Union Territory of Puducherry. NIT Puducherry area in acres is 258 acres, a coastal enclave in the basin of the river Kaveri. NIT Puducherry has been termed as an institute of National Importance under the MHRD (Ministry of Human Resource Development).
