About St. Judes School
The idea came from our Founder President, Mr. R.V. Gardner, a deeply religious man with a strong belief in the power of prayer. Throughout his life, whenever faced with challenges, Mr. Gardner turned to prayer. He begins and ends each day with prayers, not only for his family, school, teachers, and students but also for the well-being of staff, friends, and even for those facing natural disasters like earthquakes and storms. Over the years, he found that when he prayed through the Novena of St. Jude, his prayers were often answered in remarkable ways. St. Jude, a cousin of Jesus Christ and Mary, was unfortunately linked to Judas Iscariots betrayal of Jesus, which led to the tarnishing of his name. However, in recognition of his unwavering faith, Jesus appointed St. Jude as the Patron Saint of Desperate and Hopeless Causes. Inspired by his deep faith in St. Jude, Mr. Gardner chose to name his son Jude and, in turn, decided to name our school in honor of St. Jude, as a symbol of hope and faith in times of difficulty. 459
