About Central Tribal University of Andhra Pradesh
Central Tribal University of Andhra Pradesh (CTUAP) is a unique Indian Central University operating from its transit campus at Kondakarakam Village in Vizianagaram district, Andhra Pradesh. Established in 2019, it serves the entire state and is fully funded by the Central Government through the University Grants Commission. The university fulfills the long-standing aspiration of tribal communities for access to quality higher education. CTUAP offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Integrated, Diploma, and Certificate programs in regular mode. Admissions are conducted through the national-level Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) by the National Testing Agency. The university functions under the Central Universities Act, 2019. The President of India is the visitor, the Chancellor is the ceremonial head, and executive powers rest with the Vice Chancellor.
