About Mata Gujri University
Mata Gujri University, located in Kishanganj, Bihar, was established and sponsored by the Mata Gujri Memorial Medical College & L.S.K. Hospital Trust under the Bihar Private University Act No. 20 of 2013 (dated 09/09/2013) and officially notified through Notification No. 463 on 20/02/2019. Situated along the Delhi–Guwahati National Highway (NH-31) in the northeastern part of Bihar, the university enjoys excellent connectivity with major cities and towns within the state and neighboring regions through both road and rail networks. The serene and pleasant climate of Kishanganj provides an ideal environment for learning and intellectual pursuits. The town lies approximately 400 km from Patna Sahib, 450 km from Kolkata, and 80 km from Bagdogra Airport near Siliguri (Darjeeling).
