The University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS) was founded in 1971 as a constituent college of the University of Delhi . It offers a wide range of medical and paramedical programmes. Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital serves as the affiliated teaching hospital, providing a total of 1526 beds for clinical training and patient care. UCMS is approved by the National Medical Commission. UCMS Delhi offers a range of undergraduate courses, which consist of an MBBS programme as well as the B.Sc Medical Technology Radiography course. UCMS Medical College PG courses include MS/MD, PGD, and M.Sc Medical Imaging Technology Radiography. The PGD courses are offered in disciplines like Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy, Ophthalmology, Child Health, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Radiodiagnosis and others. Additionally, UCMS Delhi also offers a doctoral course in DM Endocrinology, allowing students to further specialise in this field of study. For admission to UCMS Delhi's UG programmes, Candidates need to take the CUET UG/ NEET UG exam and attend counselling. Admission to UCMS Delhi's postgraduate programmes is based on NEET PG exam results, while admission to the DM programme is based on NEET SS results.
