About J.S. University
J. S. University is the dream come true of Shri Jagdish Singh Ji, realized through the Sri Jagdish Jan Kalyan Educational Trust, which has been dedicated to providing quality education for rural students for many years. Under the dynamic leadership of Dr. Sukesh Kumar, the Trust has expanded its institutions with a vision to establish a well-planned university. The State Government, under the leadership of Shri Akhilesh Yadav, the Honorable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, recognized these efforts and introduced a bill in March 2015 to grant university status, officially naming it J. S. University, Shikohabad, Firozabad. According to the Honorable Chief Minister, the aim was to encourage philanthropic participation in higher education, promote healthy competition to attract high-quality faculty and students, and continuously enhance educational standards. Inspired by this noble vision, the university continues to work diligently to fulfill its purpose of delivering accessible, high-quality higher education. 1277
