Shivaji College Delhi was established in 1961 by the renowned social activist and farmer-leader, Honourable Dr Panjab Rao Deshmukh. Shivaji College Delhi was taken over by the Delhi Government in 1967 and relocated to Karampura. Shivaji College Delhi was further shifted to its present campus in Raja Garden in 1976.
