About Delhi Sports University
Delhi Sports University has been established by the Delhi Government, with India’s first woman Olympic medallist Padma Shri K Malleswari serving as its first Vice Chancellor. It is a unique school-university integrated institution focused on excellence in sports education and world class training. DSU will oversee multiple Delhi Sports Schools from classes 6 to 12 to develop strong foundational skills in promising young athletes. It will also manage specialized training divisions under Centres for Excellence to ensure high quality coaching, facilities, and performance driven programs. Delhi Sports School is the first fully residential sports focused school in Delhi, operated by DSU. It is designed to nurture student athletes, combining academics with a specialized sports integrated curriculum to help them excel in national and international competitions. 1641
