Sardar Patel University, Mandi, is located in the Himalayan ranges along the Beas River in Himachal Pradesh. It is a residential and affiliating State Government University that came into existence on April 1, 2022. The University holds 2 f status from UGC and has jurisdiction over the districts of Mandi, Kullu, Lahaul and Spiti, Chamba, and Kangra, with 119 affiliated colleges and institutions. The campus offers UG, PG, and research programs, and plans to introduce regionally relevant courses for the mountainous region. As the second State University in Himachal Pradesh, it represents the long awaited aspirations of the people for social and economic growth through higher education.
