About Baba Amte Divyang University

Baba Amte Divyang University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, was established through Act No. 9 of 2023 by the Government of Rajasthan to empower specially abled individuals through inclusive higher education. The university has jurisdiction over all special education colleges in the state, except those belonging to other state universities and the special education colleges of Jodhpur, Pali, and Bikaner divisions. Dr. Dev Swarup assumed office as the founding Vice Chancellor on 3 July 2023. Operating from its central office at Punyashloka Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar Bhavan, JLN Marg, Jaipur, the university is dedicated to creating an environment that supports holistic development, academic growth, and lifelong empowerment for students with special abilities. 1669
