Shri Jagdishprasad Jhabarmal Tibrewala University (SJJTU) was founded through the vision and inspiration of Shri Rajasthani Sewa Sangh, Mumbai, to honor the legacy of Shri Jagdishprasad Jhabarmal Tibrewala at Jhunjhunu. The university was established by Act No. 2(5) Vidhi/2/2009 of the State Legislature of Rajasthan in 2009 and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 22 of the UGC Act. The university campus is located in Jhunjhunu, about 198 km from Jaipur and 263 km from New Delhi. Jhunjhunu is well connected by the Durronto Express, which provides direct access from Mumbai in approximately 17 hours. The campus is situated 20 km from Jhunjhunu Railway Station and 35 km from Churu Station, both accessible by multiple train routes from major cities.
