About Bikaner Technical University

Bikaner Technical University was established under the University of Bikaner Act 2017 (Act No. 29 of 2017) and is located in the University College of Engineering and Technology campus at RIICO Karni Industrial Area, Bikaner. The University was created to share the academic and administrative workload of Rajasthan Technical University, Kota, and to cater to the technical education needs of 12 districts of Western and Northern Rajasthan. BTU oversees 42 institutes, including one constituent college, four government autonomous colleges, and 37 private engineering colleges across the Bikaner, Jodhpur, Ajmer, and Jaipur divisions. The first Vice-Chancellor, Prof. H. D. Charan, guided the University during its formative years, strengthening academics, research, and campus development. 1670
