About Shaheed Bhagat Singh State University
The Institute was founded by the Government of Punjab in 1995 as Shaheed Bhagat Singh College of Engineering & Technology, honoring the great martyr Shaheed Bhagat Singh. In 2011-12, it was upgraded to a technical campus and renamed Shaheed Bhagat Singh State Technical Campus, Ferozepur. Fully promoted by the Punjab Government and registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860, the institute is governed by a Board of Governors. Its modern, lush green campus spans 98 acres and is located on the Ferozepur–Moga Road, about four kilometers from Ferozepur city. 1634
