About Central University of Punjab
The Central University of Punjab, established in 2009 under the Central Universities Act, has grown rapidly since its inception. Accredited with an A+ grade by NAAC in 2023, the university has consistently ranked in the NIRF top 100, earning recognition for high per-capita research funding. With a mission to offer strong instructional and research facilities across disciplines, it promotes innovation, new technologies, and skill-focused learning. Starting from a small camp office, the university now operates on a 500-acre eco-friendly campus at Ghudda village. It has 31 departments and 11 schools offering PG and PhD programs.
