Vel Tech was established in 1997 by Founder President and Chancellor Col Prof Vel Dr R Rangarajan and Foundress President Dr Sagunthala Rangarajan with a vision to create model citizens contributing professionally and socially to the nation. Vel Tech provides 21 undergraduate and 17 postgraduate programs along with PhD courses in engineering, technology, management, arts, science, and law.
