About Vinayaka Missions Research Foundation
Vinayaka Missions Research Foundation deemed to be university traces its origin to 1981 when the Thirumuruga Kirupananda Variyar Thavathiru Sundara Swamigal Medical Educational and Charitable Trust TKVTSSMECT was established. Building on this foundation the visionary founder chairman Dr A Shanmugasundaram started Vinayaka Missions College of Pharmacy at Salem in 1982. This marked the beginning of Vinayaka Missions in the field of education. Over the years the institution has expanded into a deemed university offering undergraduate postgraduate and doctoral programs across medicine pharmacy dentistry nursing allied health sciences and management. With modern infrastructure experienced faculty and a focus on research and holistic development the university prepares competent professionals for national and global challenges. 1560
