About Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science (HITS)
Dr. Anand Jacob Verghese took charge of the Hindustan Group of Institutions in 2006, following the untimely passing of his father. With the guidance and inspiration of his mother, he has led the group to remarkable growth, expanding its educational reach from primary to higher levels through the establishment of three international schools in Chennai. Under his dynamic leadership, Hindustan College of Engineering achieved University status in 2008. Dr. Anand Verghese has also been instrumental in building strong collaborations with renowned international universities and educational institutions. 1005
